  • Nämä kuvat on otettu lokakuun viimeisenä viikonloppuna mökiltä laiturinnostotalkoista. Se oli talven ensimmäinen viikonloppu. Etelässä oli jo satanut lunta, mutta Savoon lumi ei ollut vielä ehtinyt. Ensimmäiset pakkaset olivat puraisseet kuolevaa luontoa ja siinä hetkessä on jotain todella kaunista. Tästä viikonlopusta näytän nyt muutaman kuvasarjan.

    These photos have been shot in the last weekend of October at our summer cottage. It was the first weekend of the winter. It was already snowing in Southern Finland but not yet in our cottage. There is something utterly beautiful in the dying nature that has just been frostbitten. These and following photos are from that weekend.

  • Lauantai-iltana oli maaginen ja usvainen tunnelma.
    Harmi, etten kanna järkkäriä kaulassa lenkillä, vaan oli tyytyminen kännykkäkameraan.

    The atmosphere outside was quite amazing on Saturday night.
    It's a pity I don't tend to go for a walk with my better camera, so I had to settle for the one on my mobile.


  • Kuihtuvat kosmokset ovat lähes yhtä kauniita kuin tuoreet.
    Mulla olo on vähän sama kuin noilla kukilla, väsynyt ja nuutunut.

    Fading flowers are almost as beautiful as fresh ones. 
    Right now I feel just like those flowers, tired.

  • Firenzessä minua ihastuttivat: tunnelma, Signum-paperikauppa, Duomo, nahkalaukut, Vivolin rommikrokantti, Uffici ja Ufficin kirjakauppa sekä Taverna Divina Commedian pasta.

    I loved Florence. I loved the Signum-paperstore, Duomo, the leatherbags, Vivoli's rum gelato, Uffici and it's bookstore and pasta at Taverna Divina Commedia.
