Tämä pikku ankka lähti kerran mukaani kirpputorilta. Se oli kovin likainen ja nuhjaantunut. Purin vanhat täytteet pois, pesin ja silitin. Täytin uudella vanulla ja ankasta tuli taas söpö.

I found this little duckling at the flee market some time ago. It was really dirty and in a bad shape. I removed the old stuffing, washed and ironed it. Then I filled it with new stuffing and now it's in great shape again. Cute little duckling.

Iittalan Kivi-lyhtyjä on kertynyt mukava määrä. Yhtäkään en ole itse ostanut. Nyt tekisi mieli ostaa tuohon mukaan muutama suurempi lyhty. Vanha lasipurkki sai valot sisälleen. Iltaisin pitää olla paljon kynttilöitä ja takkatulta. Ilta tulee jo neljältä.

I have a nice amount of Iittala's Kivi candle holders. None of them was bought by me. Now I feel tempted to by a couple of larger ones. An old glass jar got lights inside. In the evenings I need lots of candle light and fire in the fireplace. This time of year the evening starts at 4pm.

Löysin vanhan leipälaatikon kirpparilta. Sellaiselle olikin tarvetta. Tämä on kyllä aika retro, mutta tykkään siitä. Saa nähdä kuinka kauan jaksan katsella tuota väriä ja noita kuvioita. Päälle nostin sekalaisia purkkeja pöydältä. Kirjavalta näyttää, mutta ei se ole aina niin justiinsa :)

I found an old box for bread in the flea market. It looks really retro, but I like it. It's quite a colourful combination with all the boxes on top, but it doesn't have to be all black and white :)

Isillä ja äitillä oli Halloween-pukujuhlat eilen ja askartelin kotiin lapsille ja siskolle myös omat Halloween-juhlat. Nyt väsyttää. Kuopus on luopunut tutista vasten tahtoaan ja pitää meitä öisin hereillä.

Mom and dad (that's me and my husband :) had a Halloween costumeparty last night. I arranged also a Halloween-party for our children and my sister at home. Now I'm really tired. Our younger daughter is keeping us awake all nights. She had to give up the pacifier and the peace has surely gone.

Pienemmän tyttären seinällä on kortteja ja isompi tytärkin halusi niitä omalle seinälleen. Syksyn ajan kivoja kortteja on keräilty eri paikoista ja tänään sain rakennettua tyttären seinälle kollaasin.

My younger daughter has some postcards on her wall and older daughter has also asked for a collage her own. We have looked for pretty cards all autumn and today I managed to get them on her wall. She's happy and so am I.
